TERMS OF REGISTRATION
I accept the Terms of Registration set forth herein on behalf of myself, or the organization/salon which is being registered ('Registrant').
By submitting this Salon Registration form, Registrant agrees to the following terms which govern the relationship between Brighter Future Events, Inc. d/b/a Streak for Cancer ('Streak for Cancer') and Registrant for the duration of the campaign(s) Registrant has signed up for (the 'Term'):
For the Term plus six (6) years thereafter, Registrant, its staff, employees, and agents cannot hold or participate in a Competing Event. A Competing Event shall be defined for these purposes as an event put on to raise funds (either for charity or for profit) at which cosmetologists streak client's hair with tinsel coordinated in color with a cause, illness, foundation, charity, or organization), without prior written permission of Streak for Cancer. Sale of Hair Flairs products in general and/or streaking hair in such a manner as part of the ordinary course of business of Registrant shall specifically not be a Competing Event.
Brighter Future Events, Inc. is the owner of trademarks and logos, including but not limited to STREAK FOR CANCER and related logos (the 'Marks') (and considers certain marks to be confusingly similar, including STREAK FOR A CAUSE and STREAK FOR A CURE).
For the duration of the Term, Registrant shall be granted a non-exclusive license to use the Marks and shall be supplied with a high quality image of approved logos for use. Immediately upon expiration of the Term, such license shall be terminated and further use of the Marks or confusingly similar trademarks or logos will be considered trademark infringement. Brighter Future Events, Inc. reserves the right to protect the Marks and place limitations on use of the Marks in commerce for quality control purposes or otherwise. The Registrant agrees to cooperate in good faith in executing trademark license agreements as requested and required by Brighter Future Events, Inc.
Registrant agrees to allow Streak for Cancer to post Registrant's individual stylist and or salon information (as the case may be) on its website (www.streakforcancer.org), including contact information and location.
Registrant understands and agrees that at no time shall Registrant, its staff, employees, or agents collect money on behalf of Streak for Cancer or from participants in the campaign; all participants getting streaked must pay through the Streak for Cancer website.
Streak for Cancer reserves the right to remove Registrant at any time for any reason from the participating salons listing and/or its website.
Registrant is solely responsible for purchasing Hair Flairs product needed for streaking registered participants. Further instructions on purchasing and preparing to streak participants shall be further elaborated in an approval letter to be sent by Streak for Cancer to Registrant upon receipt of this registration.
Only approved products (Hair Flairs tinsel in the color corresponding to this campaign(s)) can be used at Streak for Cancer events.
All Registrants will need to provide a goal for how many people it would like to streak and show proof of purchase for the tinsel product packages before being placed on the website as a participating salon.
At least 75% of the proceeds collected by Streak for Cancer will be donated directly to the charity or foundation supported by the campaign Registrant has registered for. Streak for Cancer may increase the percentage of proceeds donated (within its sole discretion), based on success of the campaign and reimbursement of operating costs.
